VENUS PROBE PRODUCTIONS

I"The Rock Talk Show" is a community-access project I co-produced and directed for Shaw TV. Phil Cholosky, also co-producer, hosted the program, which covered the activities of rock and folk performers in the Winnipeg music scene. My goal with this project was to gain experience in television directing, which is a world away from film directing. Along the way, I picked up a genuine appreciation of musicians and the struggles they face establishing their identities in a tough, competitive world. Below is a clip from our episode with Greg MacPherson and Rob Gardiner, taped early in 2014.
